I must admit I haven't played with Blogger very much but I find it hard to use (I'm pretty tech savvy with software, as I mentioned). No offense to blogger but I don't think it is for me.
So I was thinking about trying out a Typepad page. I've used typepad in the past but I've never tried the free, single site version.
I know a lot of people also use Wordpress but I don't know anything about it.
Does anyone have have any suggestions?
If I switch things over I will definitely post the link here - not that anyone is checking!*lol*

I know what you mean. I tried Wordpress a few years ago and it seemed to have a neater layout. And you were able to import your archive from Blogger which was great. But I was so familiar with Blogger already, that I just kept it. I haven't tried Typepad but that looks just as nice as Wordpress. My SIL works in blog/web design and she prefers the functionality of Wordpress. Anyway, I'm glad you like the free template I'm trying out. It looks fine on my Macbook but when I viewed it from work using a PC, the three-column layout doesn't fit on one screen. What do you use and can you see all three columns in one window?

ReplyDeleteDid you look at it in IExplorer? I found that a lot of blogs look weird, or don't load right, in IExplorer but are just fine when I use Firefox. I actually prefer Firefox now as it seems to work better that IExplorer for most sites (especially blogs!)
I also went to check out Typepad and could no longer find their free version - the one I've used in the past is a paid version but the new Typepad seems to be pretty pricey (unless I'm missing something!)

Hi there! Ive been on blogger for a year and have thought of making a change to wordpress but am way to chicken! For now Blogger is it for me. It may be a bit of a hot mes, but it is my hot mess:)
